Adrion N. Gulnick, 93, Of Bergenfield

BERGENFIELD, N.J. – Adrion N. Gulnick, a resident of Bergenfield, died Sunday, July 10. He was 93.

He was born in Englewood, resided in Palisades Park and graduated from Leonia High School. 

After serving during the Battle of the Bulge with the 75th Infantry Division, U.S. Army, he completed his studies at Cooper Union in New York City, graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering.

After two years with Bendix Corporation in Teterboro, he spent the remainder of his career with ITT Defense Communications in Nutley as a senior technical specialist. He was an avid, lifelong lover of photography, classical music, good books, good food and timepieces of every description.

He enjoyed a long, wonderful retirement at home, cruising occasionally to Bermuda, living to see two loving grandchildren and enjoying Chinese food with his family on Sunday afternoons.

He is survived by his wife Dolores; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Dr. Michael Macri of Oradell.; son and daughter-in-law Robert and Gek Gulnick of the Township of Washington; grandchildren, Mary and Michael Macri Jr.; brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Eunice Gulnick of Maine; sister and brother-in-law Marjorie and Donald Victorin of Texas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at William G. Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery.
